   Wenman Demolition, based in Hampshire, specialises
   in both commercial and domestic demolition, dismantle
   and refurbishment throughout the South of England,

   safe and professional manner.

   All materials that can be used again within the
   Contruction Industry are reclaimed, and this will be
   reflected in our contract price.

   Health & Safety is playing a very large part in these    times and implementing the Construction Design &    Management (CDM) Regulations 1994 are now a major
   feature of our work.
   All contracts are undertaken safely and carefully to
   Method Statementand Risk Assessments, produced to
   CDM requirements, under the supervision of an
   appointed safety officer.

  Demolition

   We are fully equipped to undertake Large, or Small
   Demolition Contracts.

   From a Multi-story building to a small domestic garage    we have the skill, knowledge & experience to perform    the demolition, in a specified time frame, using CITB    trained & experienced demolition men & equipment,
   in a safe & professional manner, at competitive rates.

   At pre-contract stage, a Health and Safety plan will be    drawn up, involving the disconnection of all utility    services and the issue of the relevant certificates.

   A method statement will also be produced specifying
   the working procedures, programme charts and
   planned sequence of events for each area of the works    concerned.  

   We also identify at this early stage any potential    presence of deleterious materials, and plan their safe    handling and removal. If necessary, we work in    partnership with specialists in site remediation.

   The Method Statement, Risk Assessment produced
   to CDM requirements and Insurance will be forwarded
   to the customer.
 
   The next step in the process is the controlled
   demolition of the structures and the safe handling and
   removal of unwanted materials to licensed landfills.

  Excavation and Site Clearance

   Our comprehensive fleet of excavators & wagons and    our tipping facilities ensure that the job gets done    quickly, competitively, safely and professionally.

   We are equipped for Major Contract Excavation work,    New Build, Restoration and individual domestic
   projects.

   Our skill, knowledge & experience enables us to    complete the operations within a specific time frame,
   at competitive rates, and in a safe & professional
   manner.  
  
   We carry out, where appropriate full risk assessment    and method statements which are prepared to ensure
   all H S E guide lines are followed, creating a safe
   working environment for all concerned. 

   Sites are made secure, services isolated and    disconnected, cleared of general rubbish,
   undergrowth, small structures, hardstandings,
   contaminated substances and soil, etc as preparation
   for development. Site hoardings are provided to
   Clients specifications.

   After site clearance, the area is left clean and tidy
   with all hazards removed. Refuse is taken to landfills
   and any reclaimed resources are stored safely on site,
   ready for use.

   Our Environmental Policy ensures that materials are
   re-cycled or disposed of in line with Waste
   Management Regulation.  

  Soft Strip

   We also undertake "soft strip" or "strip out" works,    systematically removing all fixtures, fittings, services,    temporary structures etc prior to the property being    redeveloped.

   This is a specialist procedure, carefully assessing the    property's structural design and dealing with any    "unexpected" finds such as asbestos, structural    anomalies and unforeseen details. These situations    require constant assessment and review with
   continual communication with both Professional Team
   and our own structural engineers.

   Many demolition contracts begin with soft strip works    and then progress onwards; others are stand-alone
   soft strip projects leaving a "shell" to be developed by    others. Temporary support and propping devices are    often required at short notice and we pride ourselves
   in being adaptable enough to cope with any finding!

   A number of our recent projects involved extensive
   soft strip works, not only removing fittings, but also
   services, lifts, large amounts of cable and steel
   work and in some instances carefully removing all
   the windows from a building.

   Wenman Demolition have an excellent safety and    employee service record.
   All our employees wear safety clothing e.g. safety
   helmets, safety boots, reflective jackets etc.
   

   Training

   All our operatives are fully experienced and skilled in    demolition, excavation, site clearance and soft strip    operations, are registered with the National Federation
   Training Group and are certified.

   Recycling

   It is our Companies Environmental Policy to recycle    materials whenever possible, and produce materials for    re-use in the Construction Industry.  

   If reclaimed materials are required to match an existing    building or, for use in a new build project, we are able to    supply the following:

      .   Multi stock London bricks
      .   Hand made Nib and Peg tiles
      .   Machine made roof tiles
      .   Welsh Roofing Slate - various sizes
      .   Reclaimed timber, joists, floor boards etc.
      .   Doors and archetectural fixtures and fittings
      .   Various cast iron fireplaces
